The platform

Six modules, one school

All six are built and running in schools today. They share the same students, the same staff and the same roles, so nothing is ever typed in twice.

  • Academics

Classes, subjects, exams, results and report cards.

  • Finance

Fees, payments, cashbook, expenses and payroll.

  • Registry & HR

Student records and staff records in one place.

  • Document Library

Past papers, policies and school records.

  • Administration

Roles, academic setup and school preferences.

  • Website Builder

Your school's public site, built and published by you.

Why schools move

A system that adapts to your school

No two schools are run the same way. Yours has its own structure, its own idea of who may do what, and its own way of grading. The system is built to follow you, not the other way round.

  • Every role is yours to write

There is no fixed list to squeeze your school into. Name the role, tick what it may do, give it to whoever holds that job, and change it again when the job changes.

  • Marks entered today, report cards printed today

Teachers key in their scores, someone senior signs them off, and the whole class is processed in one go, on your grading scale.

  • Your records, your website, your name on it

Past papers and school documents in one library, a website you edit and publish yourself, and your own domain in front of it. Our name never appears on it.

Roles & access

Custom roles, written by you

Most school systems hand you a fixed list of roles and expect the school to fit itself around it. Sukulpoint hands you the switches instead. Every action the system can perform has its own permission, and you decide which role gets which. Build the posts your school already has, name them the way your staff already name them, and change them whenever the school changes.

The Roles and Permissions screen: a school's ten roles down the left with how many staff hold each, and the School Administrator role open on the right showing every academic permission granted
Roles and permissions, as a school administrator sees them. This school made ten roles of its own. Only School Administrator is fixed, and only so that nobody can shut a school out of its own records.
If you can name the role, you can build it
Director of Studies, Dean of Students, Head of Department, Exam Officer, Bursar, Librarian, Games Master. Start a new role, give it a name, tick what it may do, and hand it to whoever holds that job. Copy a role that is close and change the few things that differ. It takes a few minutes, and you can change it again next term.
One person, one job, or several
A teacher who also runs the library holds both roles. And when one person needs something nobody else in their role should have, you give it to them alone, without loosening the role for everyone who shares it.
Teachers only see their own classes
A mathematics teacher opens the mathematics classes assigned to them this year and nothing else. Not another teacher's marks, not another subject. The server checks it too, so it holds even when someone goes looking.
Salaries stay with the people who handle them
Payslips, bursary decisions, staff contracts and board papers each sit behind their own permission. Your exam officer can run the entire examination office and never once see what a colleague is paid.

Marks to report cards

Marks entered this morning, report cards printed this afternoon

Adding up marks was never the slow part. The typing, the checking and the checking again is what eats the week. Once the marks are in and signed off, the whole class is done in one action.

  1. 1. Teachers enter marks

Each teacher opens only the subjects and classes given to them. Every change carries the name of the person who made it.

  2. 2. Marks are submitted for approval

Marks go to whoever your school has put in charge of checking them. A late mark re-opens the batch instead of quietly slipping in.

  3. 3. Results are processed

Totals, averages, grades, aggregates and positions are worked out for the whole class the moment the marks are approved.

  4. 4. Report cards are published

Printed for the whole class on your own template. Publishing locks the marks behind them so nothing can be changed after parents have seen it.

The academics overview for a term: total students, school average, pass rate and attendance, a performance distribution chart, average by class, and a list of students flagged at risk
The academics overview once a term is published: how the school spread out, how each class did, and which students need a word before next term.

Your structure

One school, many levels

Nursery, Primary and Secondary each keep their own classes, subjects, grading and staff, all under one school and one login.

Nursery

Registers, termly progress notes and fees for your youngest learners, on a grading scheme that suits their age. No exam machinery they do not need.

Book a demo

Parents get a proper progress report at the end of every term now, not a handwritten note.

Ready when you are

Ask us to run your own school through it

Send us one class list and one set of marks. We will put them into a demo school on your grading and show you the report cards that come out of it, usually the same day you ask.
